While several of us were at the Ranskill Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, 9th June, one of our members, Scott, and his friend Gary, did a sponsored 75 mile cycle ride for our local hospice, starting and finishing at the Club’s HQ in Worksop
There was no Saturday morning sleep-in for Debbie, Fundraiser for Bassetlaw Hospice or David, Leader of Bassetlaw District Council who came to see them off at 8.15am – pictured here with the cycle ride support team.
Scott and Gary completed the ride in 6 and three-quarter hours having made 2 stops along the way one of which was to call in to see us at the Ranskill Scarecrow Festival.
